For the brake with automatic compensation device, the adjustment mainly needs to be made during the initial installation (before use) and after the replacement of a new friction liner.

1. Adjustment of tile retreat distance
The adjustment of the tile back distance is actually the adjustment of the travel of the actuator.
In the brake, loosen the locknut and tighten the brake lever clockwise to increase the actuator compensation stroke, otherwise reduce the actuator compensation stroke.
Adjust the compensation stroke hc to the specified value.
If the pusher compensation stroke is adjusted too large, it is necessary to screw out the compensation bolt and take out the compensation sleeve. At this time, the pin is not blocked by the triangle plate and can rotate freely counterclockwise.
At this time can be counterclockwise to loosen the brake lever, the final recovery, readjust the compensation stroke and automatic compensation device.
2. Adjust the tile spacing equally
Tile spacing equalization devices generally do not need to be adjusted, only after the initial or reinstallation needs to be adjusted.
The way to do this is to open the brake manually or electrically and observe the left and right tile spacing.
If the backing distance of the right tile is greater than that of the left tile, loosen the locking nut on the left and turn the adjusting bolt clockwise (or loosen the locking nut on the right and turn the adjusting bolt counterclockwise) to observe the change in the backing distance of the left and right tiles.
If not, continue until they are equal.
The equal lever should be roughly level; otherwise, it is necessary to move the position of the brake base so that the center line of the brake and the center line of the brake wheel roughly coincide.
3. Adjustment of braking torque
Brake torque adjustment is very simple, just adjust the torque nut.
Generally, the clockwise torque of the wrench is used to adjust the length of the nut spring to become shorter and the braking torque to increase, and vice versa.
Spring length must not exceed the top, bottom line on the torque ruler, otherwise, it is likely to damage the spring, resulting in brake failure, even cause safety accidents!
4. Adjustment of automatic compensation device for brake pad wear
(1) push the compensation device down to the bottom (contact with the lower surface of the compensation sleeve inner ring).
(2) loosen the setting bolt until the lower end is outside the inner ring of the compensation sleeve.
(3) manually or automatically lift the pusher push rod, at this time the dial pin is taken up.
Then manually release or power to the pusher, so that the push rod in the action of the brake spring under the reset, at this time the location of the pin will be pressed down a little.
(4) tighten the anchor bolt downward until the lower end of the bolt is basically in contact with the handle pin. Tighten the anchor nut.
The automatic compensation device is now adjusted.
